*PRODUCT OR SERVICE*
1. Clinton Davidson wrote,
_"If you want to become the greatest in your field, no matter what it may be, equip yourself to render greater service than anyone else."_
2. In the world of work, you either have the finest quality of product or service or you shouldn't be in your line of business.
3. You must however remember that you may not start off being the best. The approach is to keeping adding value, to keep improving, tirelessly and ceaselessly.
4. Whether you are working alone or you are working in conjunction with others, the question should be, 'How can we improve on the quality of our products and services?'
This is the question that must engage the attention of everyone in the organisation. New answers must be applied on a regular basis until the product becomes a star.
5. The starting point of adding value to products or services is product knowledge. You must be willing to learn more, and know more, about your service than anyone alive.
6. Here are some characteristics of a successful product or service. What is yours and how can your service stand taller in this regard?
a. A successful product should be better and keep getting better.
b. It should do what the label says. It should be user friendly and simple to operate.
c. It should be try-able, like test driving!
d. The effectiveness should be visible to others. People should be able to see the product in action in a way that people can talk about it, and tell others about it.
e. Finally, probably the most important attribute is that the product or service should appear different or unique is some special ways.
Your service must be different from others or it would be lost among others.
Mahatma Gandhi said,
_"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others."_
